Recently LCBC member Alan paid a visit to Pastor Iulian and our friends in Calarasi, Romania.  We have had an ongoing link with the church that Iulian leads, including sharing items such as football shirts no longer needed by our local team! A Romanian choir has also visited us in the past, and it was good to be able to welcome members of the church to LCBC recently.

Alan enjoyed a weekend full of a whole range of experiences, during which he wrote a fascinating diary.

'A weekend in Calarasi gives many opportunities to see and experience life in Romania. This weekend was planned at two weeks’ notice and with no prior knowledge of what would take place, but it is truly representative. Not only would Iulian be glad to welcome visitors and provide hospitality, he would be greatly encouraged in his work and ministry to know that more people in Long Crendon want to take a personal interest in the work he does.
