LCBC's Autumn supper was as usual a great occasion, this year with an unusual theme. From the delicious food to the decoration of the building we were encouraged to imagine we were in a Moroccan Kasbah.
We were delighted to welcome many guests to enjoy the meal with us as well as the music and talk from Alfie Banna, a musician and songwriter who is currently signed by a major label in Nashville, and works with many household names here in the UK. Most importantly he was able to talk to us about his love for Jesus and how this has helped him find his way in a difficult and temptation-filled industry.
Many thanks go to all those who worked so hard behind the scenes to make this such a great occasion, from the talented cooks and those who decorated the church so beautifully to the young people who waited on us so expertly. And we shouldn't fail to mention the Jazz band who entertained us throughout the evening. It's going to be a tough one to beat next time!!
