Cornerstone
Cornerstone Thame, an extension of Long Crendon Baptist Church
(LCBC), meets at John Hampden School from 10.00am on Sunday mornings. The venue is the school's Vernon Hall which is at the far
end of the grounds from Park Street.
This is part of the vision for growth at LCBC,
enabling people in Thame to worship and witness
on their doorstep in a contemporary way.
The
different ‘café style’ nature ofCornerstone is especially suitable
for families and children. The more interactive teaching style should challenge and engage everybody and is designed to help explore the Christian faith in a relaxed and friendly environment.
The warm welcome you’ll receive over coffee, fruit and pastries at 10:00am is carried through into our other activities such as Home Groups that meet fortnightly and
the women's group, COGS, that meets every Monday. The men at Cornerstone are also catered for with a regular programme of fun, games and time to relax together that basically lets boys be boys!
