King's Cross by Tim Keller - a review.
 

All of history is centred around the Lord Jesus Christ and King's Cross takes us to the heart of this truth. Keller uses Mark's Gospel to ask two compelling questions: who is Jesus? and why does it matter? The book is very readable, explanations are clear and persuasive without being complicated and, most importantly, it is a book that will warm your heart just as much as it will stimulate your mind.

Can I encourage you to read it slowly and prayerfully? As well as reminding us of the Gospel, Keller also provides some rich teaching on a number of key passages in Mark's account of the life of Jesus and demonstrates that we all have much more to learn, even from the familiar passages.  After reading this book, I found I knew Jesus better, but also knew my way around Mark's Gospel better. I hope you will experience this for yourself and perhaps then have more confidence to offer to read the Bible with a friend.
