... is a group of about 30 young people that meet on Tuesday nights from 7.00 to 9.00pm @ LCBC as well as following the evening service on Sundays to chill, study the Bible and encourage one another.
The group also runs regular trips out to theme parks, London, the cinema and restaurants like Pizza Hut. A full summer programme includes a trip abroad and a visit to the Soul Survivor youth festival!
Rarer is for young people in years 10 and above at school and aims to challenge you about what it means to be Christian and how to live the life in word and action. The sessions on Tuesday include times of worship, prayer, Bible study, fun and relaxation and so should suit everyone regardless of where they currently are at with God.

Romania 2009 In the last week of August some members of the group headed out to Romania to lead a week long mission trip. The camp was hosted by Steve Dodwell, a former youth group member, and his wife Anda. The camp itself was for Romanian teens and young adults and all in there were about fifty people sharing time, fun and the gospel together. The camp is located in the Transylvanian mountains and all the talks and small groups were led by members of Rare:r. We also left a gift for the Romanian chuch to allow them to continue the work after camp finished. Another visit to Romania is planned for 2010. |
