A key part of our vision as a church is to enable gospel work to grow across our nation. Working together with other like-minded churches and gospel ministries is an important display of unity. We are therefore involved in a number of different gospel partnerships.
Our church is affiliated to the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC), a group of over 500 churches in the UK who seek to work together to train gospel workers, plant new churches and provide pastoral support to existing churches and their leaders. Key to this partnership is working together to revitalise struggling churches. We are currently supporting a number of local churches through transition periods and providing preaching support. One of our pastors is also working with FIEC on a broader revitalisation strategy for the UK.
LCBC is part of the South Central Gospel Partnership, which includes evangelical churches of different denominations in the Oxford, Reading and Maidenhead area and also has a focus on training and church planting. Some of our church members regularly attend the Ministry Training Course in Oxford and some of our pastors occasionally teach there. The pastors also meet each term with pastors from churches in Bucks and Oxfordshire to pray together.
We also have a close relationship with Christians in Sport based in Bicester.
One of our church members runs a national ministry supporting ex-Muslims who have put their faith in Jesus Christ. For more information, contact one of the pastors.
